So, I want to apologize in advance for the crappy quality of the pictures today. I'm in a new area of the house so I am trying to figure out the best place for the pictures. They're blurry and out of focus and honestly look like crap but I needed to do something for you guys!
Anyways, on to the palette! I got this palette yesterday in the mail and I couldn't be more excited! I have been waiting for what seems like forever for this palette. I have loved it so far. The look that I have done today was inspired by the tutorial that That'sHeart did herself on the palette. A couple color changes and this is what I got! So, if you want to see how I got this look, then keep on reading!
Here is all the products that I used today-
First, prime your face, do your foundation and everything else you do. I used the bronzer, hi-lighter, and the blush from the That'sHeart palette, the Naked2 palette from the Naked Basics palette to do my eyebrows, and set them with Maybelline's Great Lash Clear Brow Gel. I also moisturized my lips with EOS Summer Fruit Lip Balm.
First, prime your eyes. I used Benefit's Stay Don't Stray Primer. Then, I took a flat shader brush(the double-ended brush from the Naked2 palette)and dip it in the medium goldish brown color(second row, second color really wish these had names) and pat it on the moving part of your lid.
Next, take a blending brush(I used the other side of my Naked2 brush) and the slightly deeper brown color(second row, third color) and, with a windshield wiper motion pack this into your crease, making it a nice, deep, blended color. I am definitely loving this color. The picture sucks though I am sorry.
Next, take the deepest brown color(second row, fourth color) and the flat shader brush and place it in your outer v, only going about halfway in, or a little less than that. Blend this out so there are no harsh lines. Next, with a small angled eyeliner brush(I used a Bare Minerals one), and the deep purple color(first row, third color), place this on your bottom lash line and smudge it out a bit.
Next, take the hi-light color(duo pan with the bronzer, the white, goldish pink color) and highlight your brow bone, blending out the crease just a little bit more.
Add some mascara(CoverGirl Bombshell mascara here) and you're done!(another blurry one sorry)
Now it is time for lips. You can pick any color you think would go best with this. I chose to go with my favorite combo at the moment-NYX Dolly Pink Lip Liner and Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake. Really pretty pinky color. This completes your look!
