The original Naked palette came out in 2010 and it was actually the last Naked palette that I bought, and my least used palette in fact. This Naked palette contains 12 warm toned eye shadows, a flat eye shadow blush and a sample sized Original Primer Potion. There are 10 full blown shimmer shades, and only 2 matte shades. The packaging is a dark brown velvet type material with Naked and Urban Decay embossed in gold on the front. It has a magnetic close, and on the inside is a cubby for the brush, and a decent sized mirror, again with Naked embossed in gold.
Virgin is a pale shimmery beige. It is a perfect frosted shimmer for a highlighter, then again, I prefer a shimmery highlighter. Sin is a pinkish champagne frost that is good for inner corner highlights on darker looks, and lid colors for lighter looks. Naked is a medium brownish beige matte color. This is a great crease color.
Sidecar is a shimmery bronzey-brown with a slightly red undertone. I love this as a lid color. Buck is a dark brown-beige color, that is actually a darker version of Naked. This is a great crease color. Half Baked is a copper-bronze with a gold frosted metallic finish.
Smog is a medium dark bronze with a golden sheen. Darkhorse is a deep chocolate brown with bronze flecks. Toasted is a pinky medium brown with a shimmer finish. All of these are great crease colors or defining colors.
Hustle is a plummy deep chocolate brown with a light shimmery finish. Creep is an onyx color with light gold glitter. Gunmetal is a blue-grey metallic that is almost duochrome. These are really great defining shadows and great colors for smokey looks.
These eye shadows are just like any other Urban Decay eye shadows, very buttery, soft and super blendable. They are gorgeous colors, but just a little too dark for my liking so it doesn't get used that often for me. You can find this for $52 at Urban Decay, Sephora, Ulta and any other places UD is sold.
Recently, when UD launched their Naked3 palette, they also launched 4 double-ended 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencils that correspond with the Naked palettes. Of course I would, of course, add in the corresponding eye pencil to this review. This eye pencil has Zero, and Whiskey on it. Zero is a matte black that is their second blackest black in the 24/7 line. Whiskey is a medium-dark matte brown. Just like the other 24/7 eye pencils, they glide on smooth and creamy and last quite awhile. I've never really tested out how long that these will last, but I was just doing my dishes with the swatches on my hand and they survived the dishwater. I also tried to take it out with baby wipes and it didn't want to come on then either. I finally got a makeup remover wipe and literally had to scrub to get the swatches off. These have quite the staying power. These can be found for $16 at Urban Decay, Sephora, Ulta and any other retailers that sell Urban Decay.
