Tutorial Tueday!! Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case

Woohoo!!!  It's Tutorial Tuesday!!!  I was hoping this would be up a little bit earlier, but life got in my way.  Go figure right?  Ok, this is with the Anarchy Face Case by Urban Decay.  I have two lip options with this one, because face it, you don't always want a bold lip color like the one that came in the palette.  If you want to know how I got this look, then keep on reading!

This is an eye look that you need to do BEFORE you put on your foundation.  I am using the micro glitter colors, so there will be a lot of fallout.  First you need to prime your eye.  Today I am using Urban Decay's Eye Potion Primer in Eden.  I love this one.  It is a matte, nude eye primer that serves as a base as well as a primer.  Next, using an eye shader brush(I am using the shader brush that comes in the original Naked palette), place Fray all over the moving part of your lid.

Using the same shader brush, place Revolt on the last two-thirds of the moving part of the eye.  You might have to pack it on a bit to get the brightness that you are looking for.

Yet again, using the same shader brush, take Vaporize and put on the outer corner of your lid and up into the crease.  We will be blending this out later so don't worry if it looks harsh right now.

Now for the blending, I am using EcoTools blending brush and just buffing out the harsh edges.  Blend Blend Blend!!!  You definitely do not want this to be harsh looking.

Now, using a flat precision eyeliner brush(I am using Bare Minerals Precision Eyeliner brush) and pick up some of the Perversion eyeliner and press it in as close as you can to the  upper lash line.

Next, take some eye makeup remover and clean up under your eyes, your cheeks, and any if you blended out too far out in your eye, clean that up a bit as well.  Time for foundation!!  However you do concealer, foundation, and if you contour or anything else, do this now.  Take your eyeliner brush and Perversion again and press it into your lower lash line, trying to keep it as thin, yet smudgy as possible.

Take the Urban Decay double-ended Naked Basics eyeliner and use the side Venus.  Place this in your water line and lash line to brighten up your look a bit.  Next, take your favorite eye highlighter and use it to highlight your brow bone and inner corner.

Time for curling your eyelashes and mascara!   Curl curl curl those lashes!!  I am using Cover Girls new Bombshell mascara(review later this week) but you can use whatever mascara you prefer.  You know how to do this, do I really need to explain?  I typically do my mascara very last so if the other photos look funky now you know. :-)

Now for blush!  Today, I decided to use a bit of Fetish with my angled blush brush from Bare Minerals.  Place it on the apples of your cheeks and blend!

Now, take Crave, and the brush that you prefer(I use MAC's flat foundation brush), and highlight!  Place on the apples of your cheeks, right above your blush, and blend.  If you highlight any other areas(nose, cupids bow, chin) highlight those too.

Next it is time for lips!  I have two lip choices here.  One is the High Saturated Lip Color that comes with the palette itself, the other is just one that I have in my collection.  The first is a nice bold lip...maybe you are using this look to go out?  This is Urban Decay's High Saturated Lip Color in Scandal.  The lighter lip color is NYX lip liner in Dolly Pink with EM Cosmetics Creamy Color Sheer Lipstick in Showstopper over it.  I absolutely love this combination, it is the perfect doll pink.  I placed a little bit of clear lip gloss over it but it is no way needed if you don't like it.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial!  Review on the face case is coming soon!  I'm still playing around with lighting and my camera so I apologize if some are looking funky.
