BHCosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette Review

How I came to find BHCosmetic's Galaxy Chic palette, and the brand itself, was through my Ipsy bag.  For those of you who don't know what Ipsy is, it is a monthly beauty subscription that, for $10 a month, you get 4-5 beauty samples(deluxe sized) or full sized items in a cute little makeup bag.  You can get the link in the "Where to Find Me" tab.  Enough of the shout out.  I got a sample of this palette in my Ipsy bag one month and just fell so much in love with it, that I had to get the full sized.

This space themed palette comes with 18 baked eye shadows in quite a range of colors. They are all shimmery and just plain gorgeous.  Baked eye shadows are usually shimmery, glittery colors that are softer shadows that have the ability to be used wet.  They also typically have veins of one or more colors running through them, making them really fit the space theme that this palette has got going on.  They all have some pretty heavy fallout, so I would definitely do my eyes before foundation.

Sun is a warm gold shimmer with red veining that comes out to be a very warm light orange gold.  Saturn is a gold with pink veining that turns out to be a pretty warm pinkish gold shimmer. Mercury is a reddish brown with white veining that turns out to be a really pretty light shimmery brown.  All of these are great lid colors.  Very pretty, shimmery and smooth.

Jupiter is a medium reddish pink shimmer that has no veining.  Venus is a bright orange that is true to color and has no veining. Mars is another vein-less color that is a really pretty coppery red shimmer.  These are also really good lid colors.  Yet again, very pretty shimmery and smooth.

Prometheus is an icy white with dark red veining that turns out to be a frosted reddish icy white. Meteor is an icy white with light blue veining that comes out to a gorgeous frosted icy white with a bluish undertone. Asteroid breaks the trio cycle, so instead of an icy white with some veining, this is a mix of brown and blue that comes out to be a pretty taupe with blue undertones.  Prometheus and Meteor are great colors for inner corner highlights, while Asteroid is a great crease color.

Aphrodite(the color I got in my bag) is a gorgeous deep red with pink shimmer.  This shade has no veining. Comet is an aqua shimmer that has no veining.  Uranus is an icy blue shimmer that yet again, has no veining.

Milky Way is an icy white that has light pink veining.  This color swatches to a really pretty icy pink shimmer. Earth has a lot going on with icy white, blue and light blue veining that comes out to be a sky blue shimmer color.  Moon is quite a unique color with a whiteish blue base with reddish brown veining.  This color comes out to be a purplish taupe shimmer that is just a unique color all around.

Cosmic is a gorgeous lilac shimmer.  Neptune is a dark blue shimmer.  Eclipse is a deep eggplant shimmer.

For fear of sounding redundant, I couldn't really elaborate more than I did.  All of these colors are just so soft, pigmented, and gorgeous.  There are some great lid, crease and highlight colors in this palette.  This was the first non-neutral palette that I have ever bought and I honestly could not be more happier.  I was happy with the price($13 at BHCostmetics) and could not be any happier with the product.  Definitely a palette to add to your collection!
