Review Thursday-Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case

The Urban Decay Anarchy Face Case is one of the two face cases that came out this holiday season.  I was lucky to snag this one off Sephora's website right before it sold out(sad I know).  I do have to say that I was, and still am extremely excited about this palette.  It is definitely fighting in the competition with Urban Decay's new Naked 3 palette!
There is quite a lot going on in this palette.  Anarchy is the more simple and innocent of the two face cases, with softer more cooler shades than it's counterpart Shattered(which I sadly don't own yet).  Included in this face case is 5 eye shadow shades, two blushes, a highlighter, an eyeliner and a super saturated high gloss lip color.  All you need is to add some foundation and mascara and you are good to go!  I love little compact things like this to store in my purse(technically diaper bag due to my kiddos) for touch ups or overnight stays, or for traveling.  It truly makes life easy.

Anarchy is a combination of new and old eye shadows in an awesome two-tier case with a cover that I just have no words for, it is just so pretty.  The 5 eye shadows are on the top tier with the travel sized eyeliner and the lip color.  The second tier are the two blushes, the highlighter and you are able to get to the lip color still.

So this is what you get:

    Eye shadows-
  • Redemption- a deep gunmetal satin
  • Fray- a warm matte mauve
  • Vaporize- a deep metallic gray taupe shimmer
  • Provocateur- a light metallic mauve with micro glitter (this one has pretty heavy fallout)
  • Revolt- a bright metallic silver with micro glitter (another heavy fallout shade)

(Redemption, Vaporize, Fray, Provocateur, Revolt)

   Blushes-
  • Fetish-a gorgeous mauve pink
  • Quickie-an extremely pigmented bright pink
  Highlighter-
  • Craze- a gorgeous pale gold shimmer

(Fetish, Quickie, Craze)

(Craze, Quickie, Fetish)

  Eyeliner-
  • Travel sized 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil in Perversion-Urban Decay's blackest black

(Perversion)

  Lips-
  • Full sized Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color in Scandal-a gorgeous raspberry metallic shimmer

(Scandal)

(Perversion, Scandal)

I am loving almost everything about this palette.  Redemption in the only issue I have in this palette and I am honestly not sure why.  It is a pretty color, easy to blend, but I think it is just too dark to go with the others in this palette.  I am truly loving everything else in this palette though. The other shadows are gorgeous and I have already come up with a few looks that I am going to post later! I was extremely excited to try the 24/7 eyeliner in Perversion.  I already had Zero and Crave and couldn't imagine having another black, but when I swatched it, and then lined my eyes with it, I totally understood why.  It is such a deep black color and so fluid that it just glides on perfectly.

These blushes, wow, just wow.  As I was putting on Quickie today, I underestimated the ability for this blush to be as pigmented as it is.  Until I got it blended out(took forever!), it was so bright, it reminded me of Barbie.  This color is highly pigmented, so unless you are deeper complected than me, or are going for the Barbie look, then I suggest having an extremely light hand with this one.  Fetish is truly a great color as well.  This is more of my go to color for my blushes since it seems a lot more natural to me than Quickie.  This one will definitely get used a lot.  Craze....oh boy...what is there NOT to rave about Craze?  I have never found a better highlight color than this.  This is honestly my new holy grail highlighter and I so desperately wish that Urban Decay sold this individually(get on it UD!!!!!)  There hasn't been a day since I got this palette that I haven't used Craze.

I am absolutely astounded that UD has started putting in their full sized High Gloss Lip Colors.  I was so excited to see one in the Glinda Palette, and am even more excited to see it in this one.  This color is so pretty.  I'm not one for bold lips very often, but when I do them, I have always wished that I had a color like this.  It is a gorgeous metallic raspberry shimmer that is perfectly bright.  It goes on smooth and lasts for quite awhile, and that is with me drinking my coffee and tea, and eating.  It lasted for about 5 hours before I had to retouch it.

All in all, if you can find this palette, GET IT.  You truly cannot go wrong with this palette.
